"Lovely hotel in the heart of the old city, would 100% recommend !"

The staff was very sympathetic and the bed in the room was very comfy ! The area is really at the heart of el gotico, so I would definitely recommend it for travellers who want to experience the heart of the old city without loosing sleep (our room was surprisingly quiet !). Also don't be fooled by the old facade of the building (typical for that area), the pension itself has probably been renovated not too long ago. All in all a very good experience and would definitely stay there again :)

"Perfect location"

Location is perfect, close to La Rambla and Mercado, to different types of transportBed is very comfortable, room was clean, personnel cleaned it upon request, you can save food in the fridge that is situated in the shared kitchen

"Great value for money"

This place is in a great location, 5 min walking to La rampas, about 25 from La sagrada Família. The host was fantastic, and the rooms are lovely. The building is a bit rustic, but it’s an gem in the heart of the gothic quarter.

"Amazing stay"

It was the best stay ever! The location of the hotel is in the middle of Gothic quarter: everything is close: the shops, the beach, the city center. Our room was tidy and clean with all the necessary stuff. The host was very polite and kind. We had a problem with our booking and he helped us a lot to resolve the issue. I hope we will return to this beautiful place someday! Thank you so much!

The property was very clean and tidy. Honestly felt like home during my vacation. The staff was very friendly. They did their best for my stay. Also if you have any kind of situation they assist you which was appreciated.

Great location, clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet for centre of Barcelona. Good hot shower. Owner was really helpful and friendly. Towels and shower gel provided. Great value for money. Would stay again

The location is perfect, just walking distance to everything (tourist spots, restaurant, beach, metro etc.) and you feel safe even at night. Marvin was friendly, hospitable and helpful. Room is clean and have everything that you need. If you're travelling on a budget, we will definitely recommend the place. Thank you again La Calma =)

"Definitely place to choose"

location, cleanliness of the property, balcony and very kind staff. We brought our own duvet cover, sheets and towels because earlier comments were indicating they are dirty and old. But they were not bad at all. We only used duvet cover because it was not existed. Towels were relatively new and sheets were clean.
